Dear parents,
I would like to share some photos of students at work. We have been learning a lot using the iPad to read and create student work. In addition to that, students have been working through hands-on activities to help reinforce educational concepts. Student work is first completed in class in a paper and pencil format, then students are encouraged to produce their work using technology. Students are also encouraged to master a concept and then create a project capturing them teaching. Please take some time to look at our CLASS BLOG, Student VOD & POD CAST, and Work Stations.
Students have been blogging their students work, creating collages on their interest, narrating step-by-step problem solving, etc. My goal is to have our students ready to excel in the 21st century by equipping them with the skills of tomorrow.
There are some scary Halloween pictures, please don't be frightened by the scary monsters:-) I hope you enjoy the pictures. Remember that I am always available to meet with you Tuesday through Friday during my conference time (9AM-9:45) or after school on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Best,
Raul Saldana 4C
